New Programmes from Wrexham FM.
Thanks to the technology available, we now have a third audio server on which we are proposing to do special local programs and music shows during 2010 and we'd like to hear from anyone who specialises in rock, country, brass band, classical and other specialist music shows. We're also on the lookout for anyone who proposes other kinds of program including speech and current affairs. If you have an idea for a program, or can package a show for us, please get in touch. As a result of the new audio facilities, we have changed our music policy and now reflect more classic 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's in the Wrexham FM output. There is now a great cross section of easy listening music and we're the only station giving considerable emphasis to golden oldies in addition to the music of the 90's and 00's. It's an even better mix than ever before and we hope you enjoy it.
For those who don't yet know, and for those who appreciate their oldies, we run special sequences between 6 and 10 pm at night, every night on Wrexham FM. Just click on the listen button to tune in.
6pm - 60's at 6. An hour of classic 60's hits every night of the week.
7pm - 70's at 7. Great music from the era of glam rock and disco.
8pm - 80's at 8. The 'new music' era which saw a massive explosion of hits and styles.
9pm - 90's at 9. The naughty 90's in all its glory.
Plus:
Friday nights from 10 to midnight (new time, starts January 15th) the best radio 'dance music' show with Jules Little who presents the Global Dancefloor with great dance and trance music, the guest mix and much more.
We're always on the lookout for local broadcasters who want to contribute to, and perhaps compile programs for the station. Contact us by email:

because, with the addition of our new audio server, we can accommodate almost any sort of program into the output.
Help make 2010 become Wrexham FM's year. Tune in often or make a show for it. Either way, we hope you enjoy the experience.
